PWinsider’s Mike Johnson is reporting that an Arizona court ruled that The Ultimate Warrior will have to pay WWE $18,967.46 as compensation for the legal expenses that WWE had in his failed lawsuit against the company. Warrior filed the lawsuit against WWE in 2006, asking for damages over the comments made about him in the DVD release “Self-Destruction of Ultimate Warrior”. Warrior claimed that WWE were in breach of a contract both parties signed in 2000, where they agreed not to disparage each other. However, last week the court ruled that Warrior himself has breached the contract in the past by making disparaging remarks about WWE, and therefore could not seek damages from WWE.
