The legendary Horror auteur who hasn’t directed a film since 2001’s Ghosts Of Mars is set to make another film.
Carpenter, who turned 61 this year, has signed on to direct the ghost story The Ward for indie production company, Echo Lake.
Amber Heard (Pineapple Express) will star as a haunted woman in a mental institution.
Echo Lake is venturing into broader territory after a string of modest titles such as Tsotsi, Water and Away From Her.
