The Fugitive's score has been aprehended

Disc Announcements, News, Press Releases

When The Fugitive: Season Two, Volume One was released, hardcore fans were outraged. The music outside of the opening theme had been replaced. The problem was the show’s score was augmented by music licensed from a library controlled by Capitol. When Capitol disbanded this service, it put everything in a tizzy. It became a major legal hassle to track down the folks who had the various rights on the music. CBS decided it was faster to replace the entire score. Luckily the fans desire to restore the score has been heard. CBS DVD has issued a press release explaining how you can get these DVDs if you’ve already bought them:

In response to fans of the classic TV series THE FUGITIVE, CBS DVD is offering a new version of Season 2, Volume 1 – with much of the original music restored – free to purchasers of the initial release. We hope they concur that we not only put TV DVD on a pedestal, but also our customers. To obtain the new version, go to www.fugitivedvdreplacement.com and follow the instructions.
