After failing to form the first super confrence by luring Texas and the rest of the Big 12, the Pac-10 has added another team that has been in the conversation for National Championships a few times in the last couple of years.
Utah had made plenty of noise on the national scene since Urban Meyer and Alex Smith led the Utes to an undefeated season.
The Utes were members of the Mountain West Confrence which recently added Boise State to the confrence.
The confrence and university are expected to make a formal announcement by Friday June 18th.
