At the Baltimore Comic-Con this afternoon, during fan Q&A, DC’s senior story editor Ian Sattler confirmed that after the current mini series wraps up, Batman Beyond will be on the receiving end of an ongoing monthly series.

While no creative team has been mentioned, the way I see it you have two you can consider off the top of my head. There’s Paul Levitz who wrote the great Superman/Batman annual with the character, or Adam Beechen who is currently writing the miniseries. Either would be a fine choice, and hey, it means more Batman Beyond! On a monthly basis!

This is even more awesome than them releasing the complete series box set!
