The Cape Gets Online Comic

News

TVline.com is reporting that starting today The Cape will be spawning a monthly online comic that will actually be different from the show itself, serving as the title that inspires former cop Vince Farrady to become a costumed hero.

‘The Cape’ within the pages of Tripp’s stash? NBC.com will unravel that mystery through a series of digital comic books. The first issue goes online this Thursday, but TVLine has secured a first look at the cover and first page.

“The “Cape” comic book series revolves around a different would-be hero taking justice into his own hands for reasons different than Faraday’s, and facing off against other villains. Designed by Alex Maleev and with interior art by Michael Gaydos, a new issue of “The Cape” will hit NBC.com each month.”

The first two issues can be found here. I like Michael Gaydos’ art. The Heroes COMICS (sorry, I am not calling them graphic novels) were a mixed bag, but I enjoyed them for the most part. The Cape looks like a fun show, and I like Keith David a lot.
