Comic Book Resources has posted the first issue covers for the Before Watchmen prequels I announced yesterday. I think these were really cool covers, each of which really helped show the archetype the characters are based on (thanks to my friend Amy Madison for that line).
I know there is going to be a lot of controversy related to this project (HINT: I suspect that is what DC was going for), but everything I’ve seen so far makes me think it’s going to be really cool. It seems to be like a celebration of one of the best comics ever created, and just looks like it will be a lot of fun.
Then again, I’m not someone who really holds anything sacred. If DC wanted to bring back Jack Knight as Starman, even without Robinson, as long as it had a good creative team and sound concept, I would definitely check it out.
