Bruce Robinson was a sensation in the ’80s. The actor was Oscar nominated for his script to The Killing Fields. This led to him writing and directing Withnail & I, a cinematic masterpiece. He made another film in England How To Get Ahead In Advertising before coming to Hollywood. His first studio picture was Jennifer 8 that starred Andy Garcia, Uma Thurman, Lance Henricksen and John Malkovich. Garcia is looking for a serial killer who might be preying on blind women. Robinson deal with a lot of compromises with the studio executives including the ending. Jennifer 8: Special Edition includes two different cuts of the film and Robinson’s ending.
