Joel and Ethan Coen are filmmakers that never make the same movie twice. Their latest, Inside Llewyn Davis, is no exception. Oscar Isaac stars in the titular role of Llewyn Davis, playing a folk singer back in 1960s Greenwich village. Isaac, who some may remember from The Bourne Legacy, reunites with Drive‘s Carey Mulligan. As far as Coen regulars go, the film features John Goodman. Also among the cast is Justin Timberlake, Garret Hedlund, and F. Murray Abraham.
If you are a Coen brothers fan you most likely already have this release on your radar. The trailer gives us a good idea of what tone the brothers are looking to hit, but the plot is elusive in this first clip.
Inside Llewyn Davis is set to open in theaters on February 8, 2013.
