While the relationship shared between Hodgins & Angela will always anchor the show and serve as its stability, they won’t have the smoothest of sails in the new season of Bones.
The show’s executive producer, Stephen Nathan, offered a preview to TVLine. He said that the fact that Angela has to balance her work with her relationship will serve as a metaphor for all of the characters on the series.
“Life won’t be easy for them,” he said. “Angela’s still pulled in two directions — working [at the Jeffersonian] and being with Hodgins. I think there’s a sense for all the characters that their lives might have other demands for them. People are going to be changing and wanting different things — as would be the case with any group of people you’ve known for 10 years.”
