WWE was back with the first Monday Night Raw in the Sheamus Era. The post-Survivor Series 2015 Raw focused mostly on the new top card of Roman Reigns against the Authority’s new grouping.
Sheamus, now aligned with HHH and Stephanie in the Authority, enlisted Rusev to be his backup. Roman Reigns demanded his rematch but it was scheduled for the PPV. Instead Reigns would face Rusev in the main event.
Later, Reigns was attacked by King Barrett, also apparently now in the heel stable.
Paige had her rematch against Charlotte for the Divas Title, which ended in a DQ.
Elsewhere the Wyatts defeated the Dudleys, Goldust returned to Raw and Dolph Ziggler teamed with Dean Ambrose against Tyler Breeze and Kevin Owens.
