Marvel Comics Fresh Start For Thor Includes New Hammer and New Logo?

When the new June 2018 Thor series was announced this was the art release and logo.

We naturally noticed that this new hammer seems to morph into other weapons.

Since then a new version of the Thor cover has been released with a brand new logo.

Are the logos in the fresh start initial announcements placeholders for new logos like this one?
