[WWE] Update on Batista’s Return, Marty Jannetty & More

Archive

– WWE hall of famer Jimmy Snuka was at last night’s Ohio Valley Wrestling TV tapings and involved in an angle, according to PWInsider.com. If anyone was at the event or lives in Louisville and wants to contribute regular OVW reports to Inside Pulse, email me by clicking the above link.

– Former World Champ Batista is said to be looking big and in shape, according to PWInsider.com, and ready to return to the ring soon. With Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle fighting through injuries, and Randy Orton suspended, the timing couldn’t be better. Batista is schedule to appear at an indie show for MCW on May 7.

– Marty Jannetty’s MySpace remains un-updated, as it has been for several weeks. The March 13 Wrestling Observer newsletter said that he had been under house arrest (through June of 2007) at the time he made his latest WWE appearance, and that he was written into storylines, but taken out after his day pass was taken away due to complications with a urine test. As he explained it on his site at the time, it wasn’t a failed urine test, but a logistical error, but since his latest update, all blog posts have been removed.
