– WrestlingObserver.com has reported that on last night’s RAW, the fake Hogan was played by Richard Doo, who does Hogan impersonations obviously. Larry Sweeney, who works for CHIKARA Pro, played Nasty Nick Hogan.

– While it didn’t come across on TV, Meltzer claims to have received several reports from RAW last night about Cena being heavily booed by the live crowd. However, these same reports indicate several fans left the arena following Cena’s match. This would seem to indicate that although the WWE spin doctors believe DX is the strong draw, this crowd paid to see Cena (either to love him or hate him). The crowd dropped off before the main event featuring HBK vs. Umaga even began.

– The West Coast feed of RAW got hosed last night. The show “opened” with the final segment of Vince and Shane pummeling HBK, and then faded out. They went back on the air at 9:06pm local time and started the show in progress from that point. The rest of the feed ran smoothly from there on.

– Former WWF, WCW and ECW grappler Bam Bam Bigelow was arrested recently for an outstanding warrant related to a motorcycle accident he suffered last year. The warrant was outstanding for months, citing DUI, DUI with property damage, DUI with serious bodily injury, driving without a motorcycle license, and driving with a suspended drivers license. Bail was set at $5,000. Sadly, his arrest occurred mere days after the Tampa Tribune story about the Beast From The East. The story is in today’s St. Petersburg Times here.

– PWInsider reports that according to a recent press release, Jonathan Coachman will be paired with former Florida State Seminole QB Chris Rix. Coach was used a couple of times by CSTV.

– PWInsider is also reporting that Maven was backstage at RAW this week, putting out feelers for a job.
