Episode 3.01: Time Has Come Today

Dihann Carrollo a.k.a. Whitley Gilbert’s mom from A Different World will be guest starring as Burke’s mom for this episode.
A new African-American couple could be introduced. Bartender Joe rejects a proposition. A patient is caught shoplifting, while another one asserts her independence. We will see flashbacks of a five-year-old Meredith. One doctor shows admiration for a gay patient, but something doesn’t seem right about that.
Izzy could get in more trouble over Denny. She may yelled at for hanging out with Denny’s body in the morgue. Meanwhile, still try and comfort Izzy after Denny’s death.
Meredith must decide what the future holds for her after sleeping with Derek. The Meredith-Derek-Addison will eventually get resolved in some way. Maybe not in this episode, but sometime in this season.
In addition, this episode will also feature Dr. Webber getting yelled at by his wife, Adele, for sleeping in his office one night. George also gets relationship advice from a surprising source.
