… Kevin Nash and Billy Kidman were backstage at this week’s iMPACT! tapings, and Kidman was also at No Surrender.
… Smackdown’s final numbers on Friday were a 2.4 overall national broadcast rating (3 share), but when you look at the “Live Plus Same Day” Nielsen ratings in the Male 18-34 demographic, the show got a second-place 1.9 rating (8 share). WWE is touting these numbers here.
… The Eric Bischoff appearance on RAW was a one-time thing, but “you never know.” A great commercial aired during ECW last night promoting the book.
… Rey Mysterio joined forces with DX to form “The Three Amigos” in Mexico.
… Hardcore Holly had to get 24 stiches to close up the gash in his back suffered during his match with RVD on ECW.
… Matt Striker’s “Word of the Week” is benevolent.

– In a dark match, Cryme Tyme beat The Spirit Squad when the Squad bolted after about 5:00. The new team got a huge reaction from the crowd.
– Snitsky beat a jobber
– Val Venis pinned Rob Conway with the Money Shot
– Jim Duggan & Eugene beat Russell Simpson & his partner with the double 3-point stance
– In the dark main event, John Cena pinned Edge cleanly with a roll-up in under two minutes. Edge threatened to attack JR afterwards, but only knocked his hat off.
– Finally, JR came into the ring to thank the fans, as the WWE writer who played a stripper on ECW came out in an Oregon shirt and did a striptease until JR hit him with his microphone. You can see this here.
