Final Card for Tonight’s TNA House Show & ICP Update

TNA Knockout Christy Hemme is in Richmond, Va. this week making promotional appearances for TNA Wrestling leading into “Capital Punishment”, TNA Wrestling’s first live event in Richmond at The Alltel Pavilion at the VCU Siegel Center. The event is this Friday night.

Hemme conducted several radio interviews yesterday and today, and will continue tomorrow with interviews on ESPN Radio 910, a live in studio interview with WRIC TV 8 at 6 pm tomorrow night, and an appearance at Club Velocity tomorrow night.

Capital Punishment will feature dual main events with World Champion Jeff Jarrett taking on Samoa Joe and AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels taking on LAX with Konnan. Both of those matches are rematches from TNA’s last Pay Per View, No Surrender. TNA announced on Pay Per View last week the signing of Kurt Angle and the move to the 9 pm eastern time slot on Spike TV for Impact beginning November 16.

September 25, 2006: FINAL CARD FOR TNA WRESTLING “CAPITAL PUNISHMENT” THIS FRIDAY NIGHT IN RICHMOND

Following last nights landmark Pay Per View, in which TNA Wrestling announced a 9 pm Eastern time slot for Impact beginning November 16 and the signing of Kurt Angle, the final card to “Capital Punishment” this Friday night at the Siegel Center in Richmond, Virginia has been announced.

1) RUBBER MATCH
LAX exercises their re-match clause and will face AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels.
-Styles and Daniels re-captured Tag Team Gold from LAX last night at No Surrender in a first ever Tag Team Ultimate X Match. What will LAX have in store for Styles and Daniels at Capital Punishment?

2) EXTREME RULES MONSTERS BALL
The War Machine Rhino will take on “The Monster” Abyss in an Extreme Rules Monsters Ball. Rhino took a beating at No Surrender. How will he bounce back at Capital Punishment? Abyss announced just last week that his manager, Father James Mitchell, would accompany him to Capital Punishment this Friday night. What does this mean for Rhino?

3) FATHER v. SON, HAIR v. HAIR
Earl Hebner has made a name for himself in professional wrestling. His son Brian thinks Earl’s actions at the Slammiversary PPV are embarrassing to the Hebner name and family. Brian wants to embarrass Earl in front of the Hebner family and friends. They have agreed to a Hair v. Hair match in their hometown of Richmond. Who will referee this match? Will twin brother Dave have a say in this?

4) X- Division 3 Way
The TNA X Division will be on display as former X Division Champion Chris Sabin takes on The Canadian Destroyer Petey Williams and Cult favorite “Shark Boy” in a three way dance.

5) Sonjay Dutt v. Alex Shelley
Virginia native Sonjay Dutt will face off with Paparrazi member Alex Shelley in X- Division action.

6) The James Gang v. Americas Most Wanted
One of the most successful tag teams of all time, Kip and BG James, face off with the most successful tag teams in the history of TNA!!

7) Jeff Jarrett v. Samoa Joe
In a re-match from No Surrender, Samoa Joe will take on current World Champion Jeff Jarrett. This time, its just Joe and Jarrett, one on one.

Also scheduled to appear at Capital Punishment are TNA Knockout Christy Hemme, Showtime Eric Young, and a special guest appearance by NWA legend “Magnum T. A.”.

In other TNA news, PWInsider has reported that Insane Clown Posse — who announced on Howard Stern Monday morning that they’d be heading to Orlando to work with Team 3D — never arrived at the taping, forcing TNA to re-write some of the show.
