Grey’s Anatomy is the #1 show on TV, but that doesn’t mean everyone is all friendly and happy on the set. Each member of the cast is making a TON of money, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t any problems. Far from it.
It all started with Patrick Dempsey, Dr. Derek Shepherd, and Isaiah Washington, Dr. Preston Burke, fighting on the set. They actually almost came to blows as they were nose-to-nose and arguing about difference of opinions that about “time and keeping the production going.”
The next piece of “news” to come from the set was that T.R. Knight, who plays Dr. George O’Malley, confirmed he was gay in real life. That may surprise a lot of people, but what may surprise more is that now it’s being reported that the fight between Isaiah Washington and Patrick Dempsey may have been partially casued by Knight’s homosexuality. Dempsey stuck up for his co-star and apparently Washington yelled a gay slur about T.R. Knight at Dempsey.
As a result, Dr. Burke may get fired from Grey’s Anatomy. Things are getting just as interesting off-the-set as they are on-the-set. We’ll keep you posted on how everything goes down.
