Krazy Kurt is at it again. It never stops. Here are the highlights from Bubba (thanks to the Observer, PWI and PWTorch):
- He says that there is a rumor that Dixie Carter is going to have backing by an NFL owner soon.
- Said that Dixie’s current backers (Panda Energy) could buy and sell Vince (once again they’re an energy utility, not a wrestling company) 10 times over
- Claimed that TNA is beating ECW and Smackdown in the ratings
- Dixie contacted Hogan and that getting Hogan and Paul Wight would change the face of the industry
- Called Wight his “best friend”
- Called HHH a slimeball and said that he’ll be better put to use once he’s retired from the ring and political games
- The purple veins on Vince’s nose? A sure sign that a heart attack from high blood pressure is coming>
- Gives more credit to Shane than Vince for what they have done for the company, specifically international
- Called Lashley a “freak” and that he gained 80 lbs of muscle in a year. Claims he was the one to bring him into wrestling.
- Despite saying he’s 6’1″ and 180 lbs, Christian is 225 lbs. (Why would they lie about his size?)
- Says his match with Christian will be the match of the year (Trivia fact: Kurt’s first match ever was against Christian)
- Claimed Christian is the best wrestler in TNA.
- Wants christian to have a long run as the champ
- He has difficulty calling matches while wearing the mouthpiece
- Perpetuated rumors about Jericho coming to TNA
- He has lots of respect for Hogan, and wants Hogan in TNA more than anything. He called his King of the Ring match with Hogan ***** and talked about how it “stole the show”. Said he was gonna call Dixie about Hogan when he got off the radio show.
- Calls himself (get this…) an agent, a writer AND a wrestler
- If they got Wight, he says he wouldn’t have him lose a match for five year
- During his first match with the Undertaker, Taker stiffed him because he didn’t understand the “carny speak”
- Will be doing commercials for shampoo for bald men (I’m not making this up)
- Apologized to Samoa Joe and said Joe would be taking a month off following the Iron Man match. Said Joe siffered a 3/4 tear of his MCL during the match.
- Called HBK a “jerk” and spoke about HBK not wanting to go to Smackdown!
- Test is a multimillionaire from real estate sales. Test should be pushed harder in ECW and said Jericho once stood his ground with Test (this is important?)
- Says that RVD said that Kurt was “the only guy that knows how to work” in ECW. This was after a 20 minute match with Sabu with no gimmicks used. Says it was post match RVD said that to him
- Wanted Bubba to get Tito Ortiz on the line so they could work out a fight
- Said he wants to wrestle Nash when Nash can come back to wrestling in a year
- He agreed with Bubba that TNA should fight Vince the same way WCW did (ruining your programs by giving away too many PPV caliber matches on free TV and letting your spending skyrocket despite how much money you lose? Or maybe picking a direction like the nWo and ramming it into the ground?) by bringing in top name guys.
- And ended the show claiming that TNA wanted Bubba in some capacity
Does anyone remember the crazy tear Tom Cruise went on after dumping his old manager right when he and Katie Holmes were going to be married? I wonder if Kurt has been reading L. Rob Hubbard lately.
