The McMahon/Trump hair vs. hair storyline has been covered by the Associated Press and all over other mainstream media, including the Detroit Free Press, New York Post, TMZ.com, and others. WWE.com has posted a story on this here. This is obviously exactly what WWE hoped for, and has turned out to be a great crossover angle thus far in promoting Wrestlemania, with Trump already agreeing to appear on RAW live more times than initially agreed upon when the angle first started, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

In another good sign for the company, Pro Wrestling Insider has reported that strong recent ticket sales have led WWE to start playing around with their house show policy. On March 10, the Smackdown & ECW crews will do TWO shows in one day: a 1pm and a 8pm at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium. Ditto May 13 in White Plains, NY.

WWE’s also doing a cross promotion with Grindhouse, which opens nationwide on April 6, by having stars of the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez double-feature at RAW recently. Read more about this here, and check out credits for WWE wrestlers Andrew “Test” Martin and Oleg “Vladamir Kozlov” Prudius (they both appear in the Werewolf Women of the SS mock trailer) at IMDB.
