ROH drew 1,200 fans to both the 30th and 31st March shows in Detroit at WrestleMania weekend. They filled the building but were disappointed they didn’t do better, especially on merchandise sales.

Jim Cornette is only going to be booked on a few shows since he is keeping busy with TNA. There was a lot of TNA hatred at the shows. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley were greeted with “Fire Russo” chants, to which Shelley responded “I hear ya.” Shelley had been pinned clean on Impact by Shark Boy immediately prior to these shows.

Mark Briscoe spent three nights in hospital after landing on his head on the floor whilst attempting a shooting star press from the top rope to the outside during the Briscoes match with Naruki Doi & Shingo. He had a bad concussion and was in intensive care until Sunday night. He had a seizure and was very confused, getting violent when awakening. He called the office on Tuesday to say he was fine and could wrestle on the 13th April show.

The company is uncertain whether or not to run shows in Orlando on WrestleMania weekend next year, as ROH has no fan base in the area and local wrestling fans get into the Impact Zone for free anyway.

Ricky Banderas will be signing with TNA as soon as his WSX contract expires. He’s due for a big push.

Jeff Jarrett’s wife, who has been battling cancer for many years, took a turn for the worse. She contracted pneumonia and wound up with a collapsed lung as the cancer treatment has killed most of her antibodies.
