TNA in Talks to Add Another Hour?

News

Late last week, Mike Johnson of Pro Wrestling Insider reported that TNA has been in talks with Spike TV to expand iMPACT! and/or add additional TNA programming (a la UFC) to the network.

Spike is reportedly interested in doing more with TNA, it’s just a matter of what and when. One possibility that has been brought up in Internet rumors is simply adding TNA Xplosion – already taped for The Fight Network and other international outlets, but pretty much not airing in the U.S. – to the network.

Johnson also reported that broadcast network MyNetworkTV and “a major cable network that has never aired professional wrestling before” (although the latter is unconfirmed by Johnson) are also showing interest in the five-year old wrestling promotion.

Pulse Wrestling columnist Andy Wheeler will talk more about this in his column later today, and we’ll have additional info as soon as there is more to this story to report.
