Dana White talked a little about the potential for pro wrestlers to make the move to MMA in a recent interview with the UK Daily Star:
“I have a three o’clock conference call with [Kurt] Angle this afternoon … [Brock] Lesnar would be interesting but I do think it would be very hard for anyone from pro-wrestling to make the jump into UFC right now.”
He goes on to talk about the British fans, how 85% of his UFC fighters are college educated and that you get several top fights on a UFC card, whereas for De La Hoya-Mayweather, you got one bout.
