Preview: Cooling down from SummerSlam
August 27, 2007

At SummerSlam, WWE Champion John Cena pulled off the seemingly impossible by turning away the lethal challenge of Randy Orton in one of the most memorable matches in SummerSlam history. What’s next for The Champ? And has he seen the last of Orton?

Also, Mr. McMahon’s search for his bastard son continues. He had hoped to that the mother of his illegitimate son would reveal herself at SummerSlam, but his hopes were dashed. Perhaps on Monday Night Raw in Boston, more clues will surface about the identity of the Chairman’s long-lost son.

Fans erupted with applause at the return of the King of Kings, Triple H, at SummerSlam. After eight months of exhaustive rehabilitative therapy, Triple H made a triumphant return with a royal victory over King Booker. With The Game back on Raw’s dynamic is certain to shift.

In Diva news, Candice Michelle watched Beth Phoenix help dispose of 11 other Divas at SummerSlam’s all-Diva Battle Royal. With her victory, Phoenix won the opportunity to challenge Candice Michelle for the Women’s Championship. With a championship match in the future, things are sure to heat up between the two Raw Divas.

Umaga also successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship against Mr. Kennedy and Carlito in their Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam. The Samoan Bulldozer emerged victorious, but just barely. Will Mr. Kennedy and Carlito continue pursuing the Intercontinental Championship now that Umaga has proven his mettle?

Find out the answers to all these questions and more Monday night on Raw when it airs live at 9/8 CT with a special broadcast on the Sci Fi Network.
