Get a bunch of random actors together and surely something entertaining has to come out of it right?
Senator Entertainment has now added Kim Basinger and Billy Bob Thronton to the cast of The Informers which is based on short stories by Bret Easton Ellis. He wrote the script for the film with Nicholas Jarecki while Marco Weber will produce. Gregor Jordan is directing.
The Informers is set over the course of a week in 1983. It takes place in the nihilistic world of Ellis’ childhood in Los Angeles and intersects seven different storylines. The stories involve rock stars, movie executives, a vampire, and other characters challenged by the moral rights and wrongs of society.
The film is set to begin production in October and also stars Brandon Routh, Ashley Olsen, Jon Foster, Austin Nichols, and Lou Pucci.
