Video games have been made into feature films for almost two decades now and it seems the trend won’t stop. Even if the game did include ostriches and swords.

CP Prods. which is the new production company from Michael Cerenzie and Christine Peters has its first project. That project happens to be an arcade game from Midway that debuted in 1982 and goes by the name of Joust.

For those not familiar with the game, it involved dueling ostriches. Players would control a knight sitting on a flying ostrich and they would fight flying buzzards and other enemies on multi-tiered boards.

Nothing has yet been revealed on the plot or how the film will be done, but stay tuned for we’ll get you more as we do.
