Action star Jason Statham (The Italian Job, WAR) sat down with IESB and discussed various projects he may have lined up or would like to be a part of.
He mentions Crank 2, Transporter 3, and a few others you’d expect him to. But there are a few surprises in their interview with him that may shock some. One in particular is his interest to star in a possible remake of The Crow.
“You know, there’s talk of them redoing The Crow. That was a good movie with Brandon Lee, although that was years ago. So if that one comes my way, bang!“
When asked about comic book characters he would like to play, he mentioned the Hulk but is happy that Edward Norton landed the role. Another name he mentioned was Namor, the Sub-Mariner.
“Let me think… It’s funny, I took a meeting for Sub-Mariner. I don’t know if I’d look right running around in a tight speedo with wings on my ankles but there’s so many cool f***ing characters.“
