Following are results of last night’s Smackdown taping…
– Edge brings out Ric Flair as his guest on the Cutting Edge. He asks Flair how it felt to lose to The Undertaker at WrestleMania. Flair said it was an honour and insinuated that Edge’s relationship with Vickie Guerrero was a sham. As punishment, she booked Flair vs Edge & The Edgeheads in a Cage Match for next week.
– C.M. Punk, Jesse & Festus beat Chavo Guerrero, John Morrison & The Miz after Festus hit a Face Plant on Miz.
– Shannon Moore beat Deuce after a Corkscrew Moonsault.
– MVP beat Batista by count-out. No Matt Hardy appearance. Batista was said to be very over with the crowd.
– The Smackdown Divas had a swimsuit contest. Cherry was reluctant to take part and Victoria slipped whilst climbing the ropes.
– Kane beat Chuck Palumbo in a short match after a chokeslam.
– Big Show beat Jamie Noble by DQ after Noble hit him with a low-blow. Show gave him two punches to the gut afterwards and made him cough up blood.
– Edge & The Edgeheads beat The Undertaker. The Edgeheads both took chokeslams, then Edge hit a spear on Taker for the win.
– Batista and Kane saved Taker from a beatdown after the show went off the air.
