Smackdown Spoilers for March 21, 2008 & an ECW Note

For WWE’s Mobile service, the company ran an angle last night backstage with Stevie Richards laying out Mike Knox, who attacked him a few weeks ago (also on WWE Mobile).

Here are other details from last night’s Smackdown/ECW tapings (with spoilers)…

Dark Match:

– Vladimir Kozlov def. Jamie Noble.

Smackdown:

– Batista def. Deuce & Domino.

– Theodore Long came to the ring to announce a Diva arm wrestling competition between Cherry, Eve, Victoria and Michelle. Victoria def. Eve, Michelle def. Cherry and then Michelle def. Victoria in the finals.

– The Big Show def. Andy Douglas, Chase Stevens (The Naturals, former three-time NWA World Tag Team Champions) and another jobber.

– Edge def. Funaki, pinning him via tombstone piledriver.

– MVP’s VIP Lounge featured special guest Chris Jericho. A briefcase hung over the ring, teasing the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. MVP climbed a ladder and got the briefcase, but Jericho knocked him off.

– Kane and Chuck Palumbo went to a no contest due to interference by the Great Khali and Mark Henry, setting up their participation in the ECW battle royale at Mania.

– Miz & Morrison def. Jesse & Festus to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships, with Miz pinning Jesse.

– The Undertaker def. Chavo Guerrero in a non-title match. After the match, Edge and the Edgeheads laid out Taker. Batista made the save after the cameras stopped rolling, with Edge getting a tombstone to send the fans home happy.
