Vladmir Kozlov beat Trevor Murdoch. Murdoch sang God Bless America before the match.
– Michael Cole came to the ring to say goodbye to Smackdown. Jim Ross interrupted him and sent him away, then Mick Foley come out too.
Smackdown:
– Triple H was in the VIP Lounge with MVP. He mocked Edge for losing his title. Edge then came out with Vickie Guerrero and Triple H made some inside jokes at their expense, alluding to his own relationship with Stephanie. He said that he would never sleep with Vickie even though she is better looking than any other woman Edge has been with. Triple H vs Edge was made for the Great American Bash.
– Michelle McCool beat Victoria, Maryse, Cherry and Kelly Kelly to earn the right to face Natalya for the Divas Championship.
– Jesse & Festus beat Hawkins & Ryder when Festus got the pin. Edge came down to attack Jesse and Festus afterwards.
– Backstage, Edge and Vickie argued.
– Jeff Hardy beat John Morrison after a Swanton.
– Umaga beat Funaki in a squash.
– Matt Hardy beat Shelton Benjamin, Ken Kennedy & Chavo Guerrero in a four-way match to retain the United States Championship.
– Edge came back out, raving about losing the title and how he made Hawkins, Ryder and Vickie and how nobody likes him because he is a true warrior. Vickie came out after him and he told her the wedding was off.
