Not sure if this is any indication in where they are headed in storylines, but WWE’s running commercials promoting the new, young, champions CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes… and during yesterday’s house show in Chile, Punk faced Kane and the Tag Champs faced Cryme Tyme. At the Madison Square Garden house show on August 23, currently scheduled as the main event is Punk vs. Batista, with JBL vs. Cena second from the top, and Kofi defending his IC strap vs. Kane.

The Raw overrun did a 4.12 quarter hour, the highest on the 6/30/08 show.

TNA announced that it will have a new online show on IGN.com, hosted by Jeremy Borash, recapping the week in TNA.

TNA talent Jim Cornette is among those interviewed for the new Ric Flair DVD, coming out next Tuesday.

Mickie James is working on her own clothing line.

In the new WWE Magazine, Jeff Hardy is interviewed about his house burning down, his suspension and more. He says: “I missed Wrestlemania. That was a huge, huge punishment. I was involved in such a big match going in, and I missed it. But, I think the fans respect the fact that I’ve confessed to what I did wrong. Throughout my suspension, they tested me two or three times each week.”
