Antonio Margarito will fight Shane Mosley after all. Talks had stalled between the two which left Margarito to look elsewhere for a fight. Negotiations resurfaced after Margarito was rejected by Joshua Clottey and then rejected Paul Williams. The initial problem, of course, boiled down to money and that problem has now been resolved. The two welterweights will fight in Las Vegas on January 24th and will be televised on HBO, not pay-per-view.
Margarito is coming off of a TKO victory over Miguel Cotto whereas Mosley scored a last-second KO over Ricardo Mayorga in his last bout.
