Hulk Hogan is appearing as special guest referee for Reid Flair’s debut match tonight as a favour for Ric Flair. He will not be paid for his appearance, which the promoters would not have been able to afford anyway as it was just a high school gym event. Ric called Hogan and asked if he could do it, being sure to note that a number of Hogan’s friends were on the card, including Jimmy Hart and the Nasty Boys, so he could just have a good night out with the boys. According to Hart, Hogan is even paying for his own flight to Charlotte.
