Jack Swagger is getting strong reviews for his work on house shows. He had previously been singled out by Dusty Rhodes in developmental as the one guy most likely to succeed.
MVP was told that his recent losing streak gimmick is an off-shoot of the way the company has been let down by guys like Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, giving them big pushes only to see them walk out. Now they are apparently testing him to see whether or not he is willing to stick it out when booked in a negative manner.
Bruce Prichard was fired due to a behavioural incident on the road. The call was made by Stephanie McMahon and Vince did not over-rule her. The consensus from the creative team is that the writing process is better without Prichard trying to nix numerous pre-taped segments. A number of people think he will be brought back but only in a lower position without creative input.
