John Cena’s merchandise numbers for 2008 were exceptionally high. They were the best in company history with the exception of Steve Austin at his peak, even beating out Hulk Hogan in the ’80s. For this reason alone WWE has no interest in turning him heel at present, even with the heavy boos from certain crowds.
There have been reports in Mexico that Dos Caras Jr will start working with WWE at the Royal Rumble.
