PWI’s Mike Johnson is reporting that the Kevin Nash/Samoa Joe match that TNA set up at last week’s taping, for Thursday’s episode, won’t be happening at this weekend’s PPV, due to Nash’s ongoing problems with the staph infection in his elbow that hospitalized him.
Nash’s promo led people at the taping to believe the match was being set up for this week’s PPV, and apparently Nash had been shooting to return by then. However, Johnson says that the match will be held off until next month’s Destination X at the earliest.
A match that definitely did happen is this web exclusive, between Kip James (w/ the Beautiful People) and Jay Lethal, which is up on YouTube.
