WWE DotCom Delivery – Week of 01/31/09

Reviews, Shows, Webshows

The Rumble has come and gone and Wrestlemania is going to be priceless this year. In DotCom news, Miz & Morrison beat Cryme Tyme on Raw this week, getting the team from Brooklyn off their backs for good. Will this play a part on their respective shows this week?

On Word Up it does, sort of. This week’s word is LEGIT – authentic, genuine or straight up for realz. With a Z. Of course Cryme Tyme are legit. From They show some clips from one of their matches with Miz & Morrison to show how legit they are. They claim that Miz & Morrison are not legit. I think history will prove otherwise.

What’s Crackin’ with Scotty Goldman is quickly becoming a favourite of mine on the DotCom. What can I say, this guy’s entertaining. This week he talks about Funaki’s transformation into Kung Fu Naki, even though some WWE veterans may not like it as much as Goldman does. He’s later joined by Kizarni who tries to translate what Maryse and Ahmed Johnson are saying, but not even he can understand Ahmed. Start watching What’s Crackin’ – it’s worth it.

Santino broke the Warlord’s record for shortest time in Royal Rumble. But that doesn’t stop him from delivering a new Santino’s Casa. On his route to becoming WWE’s new animal, Santino reveals Batista’s hospital chart (Apparently Batista was neutered). In a new segment Santino goes postal and reads fan mail only to find out he has a secret admirer. This is going to lay over a couple of weeks I think.

John Morrison had a pretty good showing on the Rumble, and with Miz they had a good Raw. This week’s Dirt Sheet is the 52nd edition, marking their one year anniversary. On one hand I want this show to go for a long time, on the other I see Morrison winning this year’s MITB match and breaking apart from the Miz. Anyway, this week they put The Great Khali in Slumdog Millionaire, and he wins a million Rupees. Good for him. If you listen closely, you can hear the seeds of dissention between John Morrison and The Miz being sown as they were signing off this week’s show.

And I guess Josh and Jack are slacking off this week since there’s still no Weekly Top Five. So we’ll just have to do without it.
