News

The Tri Lakes Tribune News is reporting that former wrestler Jeff Gaylord has been arrested. Gaylord allegedly robbed two banks in the Castle Rock, Colorado area between December 23 and December 31 of 2008. The crimes could possibly lead to federal charges.

Gaylord was a 1981 All-American in football at the University of Missouri before beginning his wrestling career in Bill Watts’s Universal Wrestling Federation. He then traveled to World Class Championship Wrestling before he began competing in Memphis’s United States Wrestling Association, where he remained until the company closed in 1997. From there he competed for the short-lived American Wrestling Federation before retiring from the ring.

Gaylord also appeared for the World Wrestling Federation on Wrestling Challenge in 1989.
