William Regal defeated Dolph Ziggler in the Dark Match
Jericho oppened the show. Ricky Steamboat confroted him, and Steamboat vs. Jericho was set up for the Backlash. Cena joined the proceedings, and Jericho vs. Cena was set up for later in the show.
Batista defeated Chavo Guerrero twice.
CM Punk defeated Kane.
Santino and Santine get a segment, called the funniest segment ever by PWI’s correspondent. Santina has to kiss Khali despite having a blister, thank to Beth Phoenix.
Melina defended the Women’s Championship against Phoenix.
John Cena defeated Chris Jericho via DQ, in what was described as a long match, following Edge interference. Edge gave a Cena a conchairto post match.
Big Show defeated Rey Mysterio in what I assume is a non title match. Rey needed help to the back after the match. I’m also assuming this is a selling thing and not another injury. Let’s hope I am not made out be an ass.
Orton talked to Priceless in the first backstage segement of the show, which is kind of amazing, especially with Triple H heading out for their match right after that.
Randy Orton defeated Triple H by pinfall after interference from all of the participants in Sunday’s six man tag.
