RVD’s latest blog entry talks about his recent European tour with AWR promotion, which featured a lot of former WWE talent, including Sabu, Scotty 2 Hotty, and Chris Masters, and Gangrel. Test was meant to be another name on that list.
Van Dam talks about how a lot of Test stories were told during the tour, and further talks about how all of the deaths in the business have desensitized him:
One thing that’s worth mentioning-I’ve been asked a few times if Test’s passing put a dark cloud over the whole trip. We were bummed that we wouldn’t see him again, and all told Test stories to each other, but sadly, we are all used to this routine.
Over the years I’ve gone from being devastated by news of Louie Spicolli’s death, to asking “Who died this time?†when someone in the business asks “Have you heard?â€
He also goes on to talk about the military in ways that might offend some, recent child murders, legalizing pot, Obama, his forthcoming action movie, and talking with Chris Nowinski before wishing us all a happy 4-20. Oh, and he has a Twitter now, too.
