Edge had surgery this morning in Birmingham, Alabama, under Dr James Andrews for his torn Achilles tendon on his left leg. The injury occurred during a leapfrog spot in a WWE house show match against Jeff Hardy in San Diego on Friday night. The length of his recuperation period will not be known until they can assess the damage from the procedure in detail.
