Steven Weber of Wings fame is in talks to take a lead role in the show as one of the most powerful people in Happy Town.
Happy Town follows the residents of Haplin, Minn., as they deal with the apparent reappearance of a serial kidnapper known as the Magic Man after several peaceful years. Weber will play John Haplin, whose family gives the town its name and whose daughter was kidnapped by the Magic Man during the criminal’s previous spree.
Schnetzer is set to play Weber’s teenage son, who’s involved in a secret, star-crossed romance.
