Super Flyweight champion Nonito Donaire was hospitalized with a 104-degree fever on Wednesday. Donaire’s temperature had dropped to 100 degrees on Thursday and there are hopes that the Filipino fighter will be released soon. Donaire believes he contracted the fever from a mosquito bite.
Nonito Donaire was victorious in his last fight just two weeks ago, a unanimous decision over the overweight Rafael Concepcion. Donaire plans to fight again before the year’s end.
