The huge story in wrestling is that Hulk Hogan has signed with TNA. However, along with Hogan comes former WCW Executive Vice President Eric Bischoff.
Bischoff will reportedly not be involved in the creative or booking side of the TNA promotion. Instead he will be focused on solidifying the business side, specificially getting more TV airtime for TNA programming.
Dixie Carter and TNA would like to produce more TV content, which would allow them greater market penetration. Thusfar TV production is TNA’s most profitable business, so it makes sense they’d be looking to expand that.
