ROH News: WrestleReunion matches, Young Bucks departure, Pick 6 action, and more

News

The following news items were posted on the December 29th edition of the ROH Newswire:

ROH’s Los Angeles debut at WrestleReunion 4 will be headlined by an 8-man tag team match featuring arguably the biggest stars of ROH’s tag team division, as the Briscoes and the Young Bucks team up to take the recently reformed Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) and the American Wolves. Check WrestleReunion’s website for ticket information, and click here for an article on the match.

Also signed for WrestleReunion is Tyler Black vs. Joey Ryan, in a match that could have Pick 6 implications should Black remain ranked as of January 29th (Black is currently #6 in the standings).

ROH has also confirmed that Scorpio Sky will appear at WrestleReunion. Scorpio Sky’s match will be announced later this week.

The Young Bucks will apparently be leaving ROH relatively soon (I guess that TNA tryout went pretty well . . . so much for my “10 Thoughts” prediction). They will, however, still appear at the ROH on HDNet tapings on January 8th and 9th, and the fans may now vote on who they’ll face on the 8th – the American Wolves or the Dark City Fight Club. E-mail your selection to ROHFansVoice@gmail.com (I beg you, vote for the Wolves). Results will be posted on the Newswire next week.

Also booked for January 8th and 9th are two Pick 6 Series matches. On Friday, El Generico will take on Kenny King (currently #4). The next night, it will be Kevin Steen (currently #2) vs. Delirious.

ROH has confirmed that the Human Tornado will take part in the February 5th and 6th ROH on HDNet tapings, as ROH’s 8th anniversary show, scheduled for February 13th in New York City.
