Trailer for A Film with Me in It

News, Trailers

Yahoo has debuted a trailer for IFC Film’s dark comedy A Film with Me in It. Knowing nothing about the film, I watched the trailer and read up on its director, Ian Fitzgibbon. Last year he directed Perrier’s Bounty which stars Cillian Murphy, Brendan Gleeson and Jim Broadbent. That film was about three fugitives on the run from a big-time gangster out for revenge following the accidental death of one of his gang members.

A Film with Me in It, his second film, adheres to the accidental death scenario, only this time it’s multiplied by the number three or four judging by the trailer (but there may be even more accidental deaths).

With his long-suffering girlfriend about to walk out and his landlord ready to evict him Mark’s only got his best mate Pierce and their joint ambition of writing a career-breaking film to sustain him. Life’s not easy, but things are about to get worse-much worse, and then someone dies and things get really bad.

A Film with Me in It stars Dylan Moran, Mark Doherty, Keith Allen, Aisling O’Sullivan and Neil Jordan. It began a limited engagement in theaters on January 1, 2010.
