The final days when Marvin, Wendy and Wonder Dog rubbed shoulder with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman will finally on DVD when Super Friends! Season One, Volume Two arrives on July 20 from Warner Home Video. This was the first version of Super Friends with teenage pals and a dog instead of the Wonder Twins and their monkey. The eight episodes will be spread over two DVDs. The only bonus feature announced is a “Super Friends interactive Trivia Challenge Quiz.” The episodes include “The Watermen,” “The Planet-Splitter,” “Gulliver’s Gigantic Goof,” “The Mysterious Moles,” “The Menace of the White Dwarf,” “The Ultra Beam,” “The Fantastic FRERPs” and “The Balloon People.” Guest stars joining the gang to battle mad scientists and aliens and mad scientist aliens include the Green Arrow. The boxset has an SRP of $26.99.
