ROH News:Possible Charlotte Return, World Title Match Set for Dayton, Christopher Daniels Booked, and more

Coming off of this past weekend’s “The Big Bang!” show (which can still be viewed via GoFightLive here), ROH officials are currently considering a return to Charlotte. More news will be provided as they become available.

On April 23rd in Dayton, OH, Tyler Black will defend the ROH World Title against Kenny King, who is cashing in his “Pick 6” ranking. The winner will defend the title against Chris Hero the next night in Chicago. Tickets for both shows are now available on ROH’s website.

Christopher Daniels, who made his ROH return in Charlotte this past Saturday, has been booked for and will appear at the ROH shows in Manassas, VA (May 7th) and New York City (May 8th). Neither of those matches will be against Davey Richards (who Daniels called out in Charlotte), who will be on tour with New Japan Pro Wrestling on those dates. The Motor City Machineguns and Amazing (Awesome) Kong are also scheduled to appear in New York. Tickets for both shows are still available.

The Wire has hinted at a Street Fight between Colt Cabana & El Generico vs. Kevin Steen & Steve Corino on April 24th in Chicago. An announcement will be made tomorrow on ROH’s main page.

Cassandro el Exotico broke his tibia in his match at “The Big Bang!” against Rhett Titus. ROH has wished him a speedy recovery.

SHIMMER will be filming four DVD’s for future release this weekend at the Berwyn Eagles Club in Chicago, IL, this coming Saturday,April 10th (Vols. 29 and 30) and Sunday, April 11th (Vols. 31 and 32). Scheduled to appear are SHIMMER Champion MsChif, SHIMMER Tag Team Champions “The Canadian Ninjas” (Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews), Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze, “Dark Angel” Sarah Stock, Cheerleader Melissa, Mercedes Martinez, Ayako Hamada (4/11 only), Nikki Roxx, Allison Danger, Madison Eagles, Jessie McKay, and more. In addition, this weekend will feature the following Japanese stars making their American debut: NEO Tag Team Champion Ayumi Kurihara, former JWP Junior & POP Champion Misaki Ohata, Tomoka Nakagawa, and Hiroyo Matsumoto.
