TNA Lockdown 2010 Live Results: Team Ric Flair vs. Team Hulk Hogan in Lethal Lockdown

News

Eric Bischoff arrives immediately prior to the match.

Abyss and Robert Roode start out for the first five minutes. Rob Van Dam is next out as Roode beats on Abyss and this is so bizarro world as this is the opposite of how you book this match. Desmond Wolfe is next and since the odds are fair, the heels control. Jeff Jarrett is out next after an uneventful 2-minutes. Jarrett controls two heels alone as his partners are too hurt from that totally fair beating to help. The heels counter Jarrett and are destroying the faces even when at a disadvantage. Here’s James Storm to even things up for the heels, who are already winning. Time for Jeff Hardy… but he’s beaten and unconscious at the hands of Sting. Here’s Sting and everyone is out, with the heels at advantage.

Sting brings in a bat and beats people up. The weapons are lowered atop the cage now. The heels all grab weapons and the faces are in trouble. The faces eventually get control as Beer Money takes Jarrett out of the cage and beat the crap out of him. Abyss lays down the tacks but gets wrecked. Jeff Hardy comes out with a Kendo Stick and beats up Beer Money. Jeff Jarrett hits a top rope guitar shot on Nigel, who mind you has had numerous concussions. Abyss hits the Chokeslam on Sting onto the Tacks. Hardy has Beer Money atop the cage. Everyone under them plays dead. Jeff controls and there’s a table and ladder atop the cage. Jeff hits the splash from the top of the ladder through the table on the top of the cage. Welcome to overkill.

And here’s Flair. He beats up Abyss and tries to take the magic ring. Here’s Hulk Hogan. Bischoff comes out to break up Hogan and Flair. Hogan gives Bischoff the bat, then fakes giving Flair the brass knucks, before giving them to Hogan to turn face. Flair is bleeding and I’m not sure why Bischoff had to come out to help Hogan do what he was going to do anyway. Flair falls with his bare back into the tacks. Wolfe randomly takes a Black Hole Slam and the “match” is over.

Team Hogan defeats Team Flair when Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam on Desmond Wolfe. (WTF). Really. No idea what that was.
