David Loiseau To Fight Mario Miranda AT UFC 115

Canadian fighter, David “The Crow” Loiseau will be fighting in his homeland, although it will come a couple months after he originally thought it would.

Loiseau, a Montreal native, was slated to fight John Salter this coming Saturday night until Quebec’s fighting commission held back his license until an investigation into Loiseau’s alleged ties to an organized criminal group could be completed. Police cleared Loiseau on Wednesday, however Jason “The Athlete” MacDonald had already been given his fellow Canadian’s spot on the UFC 113 card.

Loiseau will now face Brazilian fighter, Mario Miranda at UFC 115 June 12 in Vancouver. Miranda 11-1, made his debut with the UFC in March at UFC Fight Night: Florian vs. Gomi. He lost to Gerald Harris via TKO in the first round due to punches.

Loiseau has won four of his last five fights. His only loss came to Ed Herman at UFC 97 in April 2009. He hasn’t been stopped in a fight since being submitted by Jeremy Horn via guillotine choke in February 2004.
